Ina Garten Just Shared the Most Delicious Salted Caramel Nuts Recipe & Says They a ‘Great Hostess Gift’

You’ll be snacking on Ina Garten’s Salted Caramel Nuts all winter long! The Barefoot Contessa just shared a recipe for this mouth-watering treat, and it’s so delicious, you’ll want to make it for all your friends.

“When you’re going to holiday parties, Salted Caramel Nuts are a great hostess gift,” Garten wrote on Instagram. “You can make a big batch, allow them to cool completely, and pack them in striped bags!”

In an accompanying video, Garten uses two large spoons to mix the nuts on the stovetop. Once they are spread out on a baking sheet, she sprinkles salt all over them. Then, she pours the nuts into little red-striped bags and gold-striped bags, which she secures with Barefoot Contessa ribbons. It looks so festive and yummy.

The recipe, which was originally published in her 2014 cookbook, Make It Ahead, requires whole roasted salted cashews, large pecan halves, unsalted almonds, and walnut halves, as well as other ingredients. This advanced-level recipe makes 8 cups, so be sure to double it if you want enough for teacher gifts and hostess presents. If you love sweet-and-salty snacks, this is beyond good.

“Omg sooooo delicious 😋 yummy and yummy ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” one person commented on the recipe.

Someone else said, “These would never make it as a hostess gift because I would eat them all as soon as I made them!🙌” That is such a mood — and we can totally relate.

“I have made these and they are sooo good! I add them to a strawberry, arugula and goat cheese salad that I make. Perfection!” another person wrote. This sounds super good too!
