While we love to keep up with rising stars and all the new singers the music industry has to offer, we can’t help but continue to be huge fans of the same singers for decades. Country music‘s Tim McGraw, for example, is that for so many of us.
And, most recently, he gave his loyal fans an early Christmas gift by posting a throwback picture of his first-ever photoshoot. “Ha!” the “Something Like That” singer wrote on Instagram. “My daughters ran across this today and could not stop laughing!!”
As a reminder, McGraw shares daughters Gracie, 26, Maggie, 24, and Audrey, 21, with fellow singer Faith Hill. In the picture, a young McGraw is seen looking solemnly at the camera as he hugs an acoustic guitar while resting his head on the neck of it. “I have to admit, pretty funny!” the singer continued. “My first photoshoot….. Had no Idea!!!
“Sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself,” he concluded. We couldn’t agree more!
In the comments, McGraw and Hill’s oldest, Gracie, showed her support. “It’s iconic,” she wrote.
And, much like Gracie, McGraw’s followers can’t get enough of the moody shot. “Gorgeous then and even more gorgeous now. 😍🔥🤠,” wrote one commenter. “Just tell them ‘your mom fell for it, and you wouldn’t be here if she hadn’t,'” wrote another.
Fans also didn’t shy away from making comparisons either, saying he looks like his dad, Tug McGraw, and fellow country music singer Morgan Wallen. “I can really see Tug in you in your younger pictures. 😊❤️” one commenter wrote. “Morgan Wallen before Morgan Wallen was Morgan Wallen,” another wrote.
Overall, we can’t thank McGraw enough for the early Christmas gift. We’ll surely be coming back to this one for a laugh soon!
