Given how popular UGG boots are during this time of year, it’s only natural for them to put out a pair of UGG’s most beloved styles in recent years.
Universal Thread’s Rowland Winter Boots come in black and tan, and feature a two-inch block heel for that extra bit of height. It also has a memory foam insole, a faux suede upper, and side zipper closures, which make it much easier to put on than UGG. While the UGG original pair can set you back $160, these boots are just $40 at its regular price. But with Target’s last-minute holiday deals event, you can snag a pair for just $28. That’s an amazing value for a pair of boots that shoppers say gets mistaken for UGGs all the time.

The Universal Thread Rowland Winter Boot has pleasantly surprised shoppers due to its look and feel. According to one reviewer, it’s the “perfect” UGG Mini Platform Dupe. They wrote, “The fur lining inside makes them so warm and cozy. Have gotten multiple compliments when I’m out running errands, too.” They added that the boots are a little on the smaller side, so if you have wide feet or want to wear thick socks, you may want to size up.
One reviewer wrote that they actually preferred the look of these over the original UGG style. “Love how these look a bit nicer and are more affordable than the UGGs that are currently on trend,” they said. “Definitely feel more style-focused than for snowy wear. The tan colour can easily get dirty/scuffed, but I used some UGG cleaner and it cleaned it no problem without ruining the faux suede. I have wide feet but can still wear these without issue. They look great with anything, in my opinion. Also, I’ve already been complimented multiple times! People have asked where I got these UGGs from and are surprised to find they aren’t UGGs! Definitely a must buy!”
