Anyone who follows the royal family news knows that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a roller coaster of a year. For every triumph, like the Invictus Games, there seemed to be a major setback, but no one should count the Montecito-based couple out because they are reportedly setting themselves up for a major Hollywood comeback in 2024.

The British tabloids’ narrative that the Sussexes are trying to claw their way back to their former royal roles is being discredited by U.S-based sources who have knowledge of Harry and Meghan’s upcoming projects. One insider explained to Us Weekly, “Harry and Meghan are in extremely high demand.” Another pal added that the duo is describing 2024 as their “year of redemption.” A big part of their renaissance will likely come from Meghan’s new partnership with the high-powered William Morris Endeavor talent agency that is now representing her.

The second source shared, “They’ve actually been shocked by how popular she is. Her team has never seen anything like it.” They hinted at a “big media deal” while the first insider noted that reviving her lifestyle blog, The Tig, is up for discussion and a “never say never” approach about a possible return to acting. With Suits experiencing its own popular resurgence, her former Hollywood career seems to be back on the table for conversation.

But their return isn’t solely focused on Meghan, Prince Harry is feeling confident after his phone hacking case against the U.K. tabloids worked out in his favor. He’s done telling his side of the story — his best-selling memoir, Spare, was the final word — but there’s a four-book deal in place. With Archewell Foundation’s continued growth and his globally popular Invictus Games, Harry also has a personal roadmap for his comeback. On the personal side, his recent wish for peace with King Charles III could be a possibility while there seems to be no thawing in the royal rift with his older brother, Prince William.

It’s clear the Sussexes have a list of ambitious projects ahead, and it’s a reminder that what Prince Harry told us about his life as senior royal in his memoir can coexist with his new life in the U.S. “My problem has never been with the monarchy, nor the concept of monarchy. It’s been with the press and the sick relationship that’s evolved between it and the Palace. I love my Mother Country, and I love my family, and I always will.”
