Drew Scott’s Son Parker Is Giving Clark Griswold a Run for His Money In the Christmas Tree Department

Drew Scott’s son may just be a toddler, but he’s already the CEO of Christmas decorating, as far as we’re concerned.

On Wednesday, the Property Brothers star gave his Instagram followers a behind-the-scenes look at his holiday decor — courtesy of 1-year-old Parker. Scott shared two photos, the first of which is a close-up shot of the tot sitting at the base of the Christmas tree and putting an ornament on a low-hanging branch. The second (more hilarious) photo shows the full tree in all its glory, and it’s a sight that would have impressed the likes of Clark Griswold himself.

The tree, which looks to be about seven feet tall, is beautifully decorated — the bottom two feet of it, at least. About a third of the way up, the decorations and lights abruptly stop, leaving the rest of the festive fixture completely bare. “When Parker’s in charge of tree decorating…🎄,” the HGTV personality cheekily captioned the funny set of photos.

Scott’s fans were won over by the inventive decorating techniques deployed by Parker — further proof that he’s a great fit as Christmas CEO of the Scott household. One well-wisher commented, “❤️ nailed it 😂❤️,” and a fellow parent wrote, “I had a tree like this when my son was 3. It was the best tree ❤️.”

Another fan made a notable observation: “Parker is already following in his father’s footsteps in how to furnish spaces🎄 😍👏👏👏.” Time will tell if the 1-year-old joins the family business!

In May 2022, Scott and his wife Linda Phan welcomed their only son. They both celebrated his first birthday, which just so happened to fall on their fifth anniversary, with gushing Instagram posts. Alongside his Reel, Scott wrote, “I can’t believe our little guy is already 1 year old! Happy birthday Parky ❤️.”

Phan shared a carousel of sweet photos, writing “the most wonder-filled trip around the sun. grateful that I get to do this with my favorite ones 🥰 happy anniversary to my love & happy birthday to our little Parkypoo ☀️”
